the brothers ink

From the website:

About the Brothers

Created by award winning web designers, illustrators and fine artists, The Brothers Ink is a creator friendly company run by artists and creators. We wanted to do something more than offer a small check for generic designs that the artist has no stake in. Our t-shirt lines offer a direct link to the artist/designers personal websites to help promote their own work as well. It's a different world now and people have a different respect for graphics and apparel we wanted to do something that artists would have a stake in, as well as produce real works of art for their clothing. Each artists benefits from how they and the other artists promote their designs!

This allows the artists to continue to be a part of the process. The more each artists promotes their own designs, the more people will visit the site and stumble upon other designs by other artists and even links to the artists personal websites to help promote their work in general.

From clever and cartoony to fine art by leading illustrators and artists. The Brothers Ink will produce the highest quality apparel with the most creative and unique talent behind them. While promoting the work of every one of the artists. The Brothers Ink is a company for artists by artists!

"A couple of beautiful pics here by Kathleen Hirai. These are digital photos of cardboard cutouts, but look like something from a fairy tale, dream or memory. The colour range and soft tones giving the piece its dreamy feel. I'd love to see some more images in the same style and I think a moving piece would work well too – although technically it could be tricky. Nice work Kathleen! Check out her behance profile here."
