LACMA's Celebrating Urban Light Project
The following has been taken from the LACMA's Art Collections page:
"Urban Light—the Chris Burden installation of 202 vintage street lamps along Wilshire Boulevard that's become "an instant landmark" (New York Times)—will turn one year old in February. To celebrate this work, which joined LACMA's collection thanks to the generosity of the Gordon Family Foundation, we're issuing an open call for online submissions of Urban Light- inspired photographs, videos, and writing. Selected entries will be chosen by photography curator Charlotte Cotton for inclusion in an online exhibition and in a commemorative print-on-demand book being created for the occasion, with one winning photograph chosen for the cover."
For more information on the Urban Light Project, please visit UNFRAMED.
Two of my photos have been chosen for inclusion in an online exhibition and the LACMA's Celebrating Urban Light Book! Yay!
