my boss loves old stuff. "antiques with stories" is what he calls his collection of thrift store and estate sale finds.

this is his office.

eddie house

my roommate stumbled upon this park and house while on one of her walks in our neighborhood. the house is now owned by the city of south pasadena. i don't know the history of the eddie house, but the front lawn is now a public park located at the end of a mysterious gated off neighborhood on chetlen way (otherwise known as "where the vampires would live" according to my roommate). very eerie.

The two story Eddie House and grounds were donated to the City by the Eddie family. The 2,200 square foot building is an example of Transitional Craftsman architecture. Only the first floor is utilized as a meeting place for various groups and programs that include: a toddler/parent education program from Pasadena City College, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, and an Alcoholics Anonymous Group.

the above information was found on the city of south pasadena parks page
